Wife's first day of a much needed holiday.

I wake early and tiptoe out of the bedroom, quietly feed the dog, put the TV on low. Let her sleep in.

Dog finds his loudest squeaky toy and heads for the bedroom door...
SQUEEK SQUEEK SQUEEK SQUEEK SQUEEK

Closely followed by my wife sounding like an angry Windsor Davis in It aint half hot mum...

Not today, last week, but forgot to post till now.   One for the Aussies, UK probably won't know what it is.  (1958 - 1960 FC)   Very nicely restored, looks absolutely mint.
nice, seen a few around recently, weather has been great so people are getting their toys out.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Love those FC Col, wagons especially. Had quite a few in young days. Old faded pic of our Wedding car, fully restored FE, my Dads work, nothing out sourced, he used to do the lot. He gave it to us as Wedding present, gave it back, just had no use or storage for it back then. He understood.

Cykik

We had those here, known as F type Vauxhall Victor.
Started out with nothing, still got most of it left.

Tony Nitrous

Took the pup for a walk around the nearest little town and had a drink outside the pub. Beautiful afternoon.

The worlds a big and varied place. There's no reason for me to ever be waking up to that !

Luxury !! ....at least it's not raining.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

The place we bought had been neglected for a few years. In the 2 years we've owned it we cleared an area to build a house, and slowly maintained an expanding area around the sheds, driveway etc etc.

for the first time in 2 years we have cleared all the front and rear areas, with only a 3rd area further away to do.

Before...

After...

The pic's don't show how bad it was. It's been a long battle with Lantana, Thistles, Cactus, many many other weeds.  Not only was much of it over the car / tractor bonnets but the last owner left it with paddocks full of rocks, tree stumps, old fence posts etc so it wasn't a simple case of getting it slashed.

A lot of work but rewarding.

Awesome Tony. I remember my Mum and Dad buying their bush block east of Melbourne about 30 years ago, we spent so much time clearing and landscaping, it ended up really nice. They've sold it and moved interstate now, but the hard work did pay off in the end, I think they bought the block for 30k, then built a house on it for another 50k, sold it 3 years ago for just under seven figures....

Today rode beside new black GSX-S1000. Yoshi can, sounded beautiful.i know its the new space ship style they all have but looked good. Seemed to sit, turn nicely. To me looked a bit physically bigger than Yamahas etc. big bloke on it fitted it nicely. Would be on my list if looking for a newie.

Irish in Oz

My mate has bought one of those but he hasn't offered me a ride on it yet.

KiwiCol

Possibly he values his tires Irish . . .
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Let us know thoughts when ridden Irish. 150 bhp, Diavel had 162, so bloody quick, would be very similar for Suzuki.

Mick_J

If it's anything like the Kawasaki H2 I rode there is nothing below 6000 rpm.  I was expecting a 197 BHP bike to be a handful but below 6k it's a bit like a Honda (Boring).  It's also geared for giving it a good spanking as 6k was only 90 mph.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick
