Not one of mine, thank god! ... but I saw this today.

I bet that got the riders attention ! Fark!

Such a beautiful wheel, pity. Hope his forks were set on soft.

Mick_J

Ouch, if the rider was abord I bet that rattled a few bits around.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Race bike wheel? It's got slicks on, looks like a bike with abs as well, it's got the signal ring inside the rear rotor.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Thanks. Land is cheap here once you are out of commuting distance to the city. There's no shortage of it! 20 acres is half the price of a quarter acre block in suburbia (not that many house blocks are quarter acre now). Ours is one of the smallest blocks here, most are much larger. Apart from mowing the lawns (untill I get a few cattle or let the neighbours in) it's nice to be able to start the bikes, play music, generally do or have stuff without neighbours over the fence getting annoyed or annoying me. We could have bought the block next door that's twice the size for the same price, but poor vehicle access, lack of mains, no shed meant the smaller of the two suited us, we aren't farmers.

It still seems odd that this is (financially) downsizing. We couldn't live anywhere nice near the city for this price. I'm happy being one of the poor people out with the rednecks. 18 years city life didn't suit me.     We partly have Covid to thank. My Mrs can work from home anywhere there's an internet signal and Qld city house prices boomed, both Covid related.

I do like having a bit of space, but rural acreage isn't a status symbol or big deal here it would be in the UK. I'd expect most of the Aussie members living in or near a city to have more invested in property than a Hill Billy out here.

Yeah, 27 C today so quite warm for Winter.  Took the dog with me, kept him on the lead but he still loved it. It's one of the parks at the local town.

Not a clue what that car is ! I'll wait and see if anyone gets it.

Reminded me of my mates place over at Bayside. His neighbour had a big acreage block and heaps of it looked like this...
