Bought a set of Stedi universal indicators.

The cheapy chinesium ones have started to fail, not the lights, but the rubber surrounds where they grip the fastener.

Will post a pix up once fitted.

Just ordered 2 sets of these, I already had LED's but one on the front stopped working. No idea how long it's been out for. It could possibly been my electrical gremlin causing the F1 light issue i had with my Healtech gear indicator. I had a couple of rides without the F1 light coming on and thought I'd fixed it. Not to be as it came on again today. I pulled the headlight out again to check for any wiring issues. I pulled all the connectors apart again and then did checks to make sure everything was working. Everything was good except for the lh front indicator.  I checked with the electrical light and i was getting power to both sides of the join in the indicator so I knew power wasn't the problem. I also double checked by plugging the Rh side one in and it worked fine. I then put the lh one to the right side and nothing. Surprised it just stopped working but it looks like they are the cheap Chinese copies. Anyway new ones on the way which will hopefully fix all my electrical issues. 🤞

Reminded me to post pics of the Stedi indicators I fitted.

Definitely high quality and bright enough. Happy with these.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Tempted by Stedi indicators but not sure i like sequential type, they annoy me on cars, prefer just flashing. Will think on it.

Tony Nitrous

I have some little aftermarket arrow head ones on the back, and some Gen-2 Busa rear indicators with orange bulbs and clear lenses on the front...

Mine got whatever was kicking around in the spares pile !

Pushed this one forward a few metres to drill some holes in the sheds C-section frame.

Not sure what the future holds for it. Did think about putting the fairing back on and seeing how much nitrous it'd take at the drags. Did think about breaking it as the back and front ends and motor would go well in one of my Old Skool ET frames.  In reality it'll go back under a sheet for a while while I landscape, fence, build etc so now rush to decide.

Had a great day at Hampton Downs club circuit track day yesterday. The weather was overcast but stayed dry all day. Around 20 bikes turned up. Had the company of another 1400. One of the instructors had a very nice Kawasaki ZRX1200. We rode the track in both directions. We we able to do this as it was a 'track based training day' That was very interesting, so different but both ridden in 3rd gear. I found that going up a gear then back down while braking really unsettled the back end. Certainly cleared the cobwebs from the top end of the tach. Great to have all that torque on tap. Did more laps than i could count and left for home having enjoyed the day but feeling quite knackered. Hadnt been on the bike for a while so not very bike fit. Note to self.....must start getting out more. Had a blast was good to ride without fear of the boys in blue.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

While my 14 is off the road over winter i thought i'd tackle a few jobs. Way back i ordered myself a clutch slave cylinder dust seal which was  recommended mod to fit. So fast forward a couple of years it's time to fit it!

While dismantling it l noticed there was a very slight weep passing the piston seal, fluid level in the mastercylinder still looked good but a seal repair kit was in order.

l ordered a Seal repair kit from Just Bandits (which stocks various GSX14 spares).... The purpose of this thread is to give JS recognition of their excellent service.  :onya:

The kit arrived the very next day but discovered the piston seal was the wrong size  :bugga:, however a quick email, followed by a speedy reply apologising and a replacement seal shipped the following day.

Taxed the ST1100 as I'm not taking it off the road for winter, it's like being in a car anyway.
