Today I bought two bobcat buckets of gravel,  10mm "Blue metal". The track into my place is dirt and with all this weeks rain the cars bringing mud into the garage. I've made a bit of a gravel area near the house to help.  You can avoid the mud and drive in on the grass but there was still dirt around the build, now it grass them gravel up to the garage.

A proper driveway is planned but my wallet needs to recover first.

Went with a mate to the importers of Shuberth helmets as he wanted one,and while there tried on a Rukka jacket that I swear was tailor made for me, couldn't resist and pulled out the credit card.

I enjoy a good pull.

Should be free Vlad. Mine was nothing up front, $48 per fortnight next 5 yrs. Even with our cloudy rainy year it halves cost.

I've been looking at Solar systems, either for the sheds, or house, or both.
One guy had got hold of a few battery packs from Tesla cars or similar and stacked them up and wired in a heap of solar panels. He was pretty much running as if he was on mains.

I'm really keen on solar but I need a storage system. Prices for anything worth having are $50k and up at the moment. Battery's, panels, auto-start wired in generator.

Tony, a storage batt to run house at night, Tesla 17g, LG14g. Have a life of around 10-12 yrs. Ive worked out the maths, just doesnt figure. Then theres disposal fee, not cheap. Daytime solar panels a good thing, i get 12c feed in, halves the cost. 18 panels.

Yeah, I'd be doing it very differently if I was going to be relying on the grid, I want a stand alone system that's more dependable than the grid out here.

I enjoy a good pull.

Word of warning re gear pullers. A mate had an accident and killed himself using a hydraulic gear puller. He was found bleeding and unresponsive at his workshop. His condition did not improve so they scanned his head. They found a 15 cm bolt that I recon came out of the puller in his head. He was a mechanic by tradea and was removing the flywheel from his orchard sprayer.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Yes terrible Col. Nice guy had a young family. Ten years ago now.
Must admit to having had a couple of near misses using a press and not having things quite square.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Kiwifruit, agree on presses, dangerous items sometimes. Years ago work mate pulling 4wd drivehub apart with kit like Irish got. Bolt flew out, wrecked his knee. Lots of power in those hydraulic rams.
