So what do we all think of the new Busa?
Personally the exhaust cans ruin it for me, but I'm sure Akrapovic will bring out a better looking system for it in time.

Those cans make the original 14's look like stubbies😂🤣😂

Well it's kept the 'busa looks, as it's sodding awful.

I was never keen on Busa's to be honest, but when the Mk2 came out (looked like the rear end had melted and drooped), the Mk1 started to grow on me a bit more. I sort of quite like this new Mk3. I bet the power is nowhere near that of the first Mk1's though. Probably been totally strangled by emissions bits and pieces.

For me the Busa has never been a looker, somethings never change

I absolutely loved mine but after an unlawful stint with a 911 I decided to sell it before I hurt myself or worse

I always said it had the looks that only a mother could love :)

But I have to admit I loved mine to bits and was sorry as soon as I sold it on.  I had a first edition resprayed after an incident with a numpty car driver Suzuki white) and I have to say I prefer that to both the 2nd generation and in fact this third model.

The second gen looked as though the clay model had been left in front of the radiator the day before it went to the production team to make the moulds!

The latest (IMO) is bit fussy and over designed, (but then a lot of new bikes and cars are following that design route too) and the exhaust is hideous! :).

I have a 2003 GSX1400 owned since new (Blue and White of course).  I have a 1977 Suzuki GT380 café racer and A Japanese import Yamaha XG250 Tricker.  I'm interested in anything mechanical.  Was an aircraft technician / inspector, but I took early retirement - because I could!

I'd take the new Hayabusa over the new Katana any day.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

GSXKING

Polarising as it is we all know this thing is an absolute rocket and you would lose your licence in first gear, however every model I've ridden has given me a smile on my face that takes ages to go away. Think B-Kings with aerodynamics.

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Only ridden one. They sure are ugly but a ride to remember. That tacho needle moves very quickly.

The Bussa does nothing for me, never has and never will, it's got a fairing for one and a screen for two.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

I love that and I want one, BUT not  problem coz way too expensive for me.

The pipes are reminiscent of a B-King insofar as they look like aesthetic overkill.  Akro would need to come to the rescue there ! I'm sure they will.

Also I'd only be interested if I could get the black panels from one and the red trim from the other (instead of orange).

I am also very surprised by the lack of a 'turning' headlight. A rider of a bike that quick needs all the illumination they can get.

The whole Suzuki release, Global Salon thing, was built up so much.New models. I was excited. All we got was Busa. Typical Suzuki of late. Also, its price just went up 9 g from last model. Ridiculous.

DP1400

After all this time Suzuki still haven`t sorted the back end out! For me, the Busa is still an awful looking bike. Yes, it goes well, but so do others. I`ll take the Kawa `14 every time thank you.

VladTepes

Yes, the price rise is utterly ridiculous.

Suzuki is justifying it by saying that "for the last few years the Gen 2 has been at runout pricing"  but it's still a steep increase on the precious price being paid ride-away for the Gen2 pre-runout. Nobody was paying full RRP.

Given they were saying there would be a negligible price increase - they've screwed that up.

Given that they still haven't got any GSX1400-esque bike in the line up, they are missing the opportunity there too.
They may not see a 'retro; bike as a big seller, but something along a similar theory is whats needed - 1400-ish cc, bags of Torque, comfortable for two-up, space under the seat, similar riding position, and not overly aggressive styling.
