first ride with the new chain and sprockets, definite improvement so the old one must have been shagged, or at least well on it`s way to being so, adjusted the oil feed on the Tutoro oiler twice and it seems to be doing it`s job already.
Which chain and sprocket set did  you go with  Steve? Is the tutoro oiler easy to fit? Looks like a nice piece of kit.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

An RK kit off ebay, around $300, I did have to shorten it 4 or 5 links, the only hard bit fitting the oiler was working out where to put it, as I didn`t want it exposed and in the way, I used one of the brackets supplied and made up another one to mount it on a longer rear M/C reservoir bolt, the side cover clears it and you would never know it was there.

Thanks  Steve, which kit, the adventure, trek or patrol?

I got the adventure as I didn`t know what I would need, or how I was going to mount it, but only used the bits that are in the patrol kit

I was thinking the same, just the patrol kit should do. Will think about ordering when i get new chain and sprockets, but manually lubing a chain takes 5min ahead of a ride...

The prices you Aussies have to pay for consumable items is crazy. In the UK we can pick up a DID chain and JT sprocket kit specifically for the GSX1400 for less than £100!
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

It was a toss up getting a set from the UK when I got this, freight is pretty reasonable and sometimes quicker than from interstate here

This might cause palpitations amongst some members, so you might not want to look in case it shocks you @gsxbarmy

I've cleaned up the cases etc to start rebuilding my Bonnie, I just need to wash them to ensure the autosol is off & remove the remains of the degreaser from their initial wash. That can get done tomorrow though. I've included a before & after so you can see the state she'd got into being left for so long.

After that, it's fit the new sludge trap & I can start assembling her again. The trap should be easy, the old one is already out & I've cleaned the crank out.

Good job Andy, we'll make you an OCD associate yet!  :rofl2:
