Added wheel decals. Not quite sure about keeping them yet. The wheels are immaculate so not covering any blemishes. I just saw a picture of them and thought they looked cool but now🧐

I think wheel stickers (on their own) look a bit odd (sometimes cringey) but I'm not sure where they come from (fashion wise) and what look people are trying to achieve but because you've got that seat graphic thing going on it fits and completes the theme and I think it works.

Hooli

I agree they go with the seat, that's why I'd get rid of both

But it's not my bike, so if you like it then keep it.

Big Phil

😂😂😂 I cant help myself with adding tacky stuff Hooli and you can always take it off again if you change your mind. I definitely love the seat and won't be changing that back anytime soon, it's also way more comfortable than the original and not nearly so slippy. I still have the original boxed up safe and sound though. The wheel decals are growing on me so each to their own as always guys. By the way SA14 great work on the polishing and hope the experiment with the casings goes to plan.

MOT passed - no advisories  :) 1200 miles since last MOT  :) total mileage 10559
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

I reset the SPS, balanced the throttles & reset the TPS.

I can't get the TPS below 1.2KOhm though, I'm sure I used to be able too. Maybe it's wearing out as the original died about 50k & this one has done 110k?

Hopefully that'll all help with it's drinking issue anyway.

I also stripped & cleaned the carb's on a friend's Chinky AJS Daytona 125. I've re-engined it recently for her & got it through an MOT after she threw it down the road about 18 months ago. It also needed foot controls on one side replacing. But still had it's old running problem of no power over about 1/4 throttle. It's gone from doing 18mph in 2nd & then just spluttering to pulling to 40mph & sounding like it's revved out. It's still slow obviously, but it's 400lb & 11bhp so it's never going to be quick.

Dusty ST

Just back from passing this years (Covid delayed from March) MOT and new rear tyre fitted, passed with no advisories :onya:
'02 GSX1400 K2
'08 1050 Sprint ST (RIP :( )
'17 1050 Tiger Sport

Kiwifruit

Fitted my new clutch switch, hopefully now fixed my long standing but intermittent rough running problem.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

@Hooli Out of interest where did you check the TPS & STPS at the multi plug or at each sensor's plug alongside the fuel rail? I was struggling to get much below 1.2Kohm at the multi plug but when I checked with the multimeter at the sensor it was below 1.1Khom so I adjusted slightly upwards although the STPS wasn't to far off where it should be, both the cold start and normal running are much better now  :smile2:

I check them at the multiplugs by the fuel rail.

Fitted the new Metal Gear rotors and created some wall art

well, well, well, who`d of thought that new, not warped discs could totally transform the riding experience from pretty damm good to senbloodysational, braking consistency is now how it always should have been. I must have had 20 + bikes over the years and this is the first time i`ve had to replace  discs due to them being warped

grog

Well done Steve. My rear rotor Metal Gear, never been a prob. Today ordered new rear Angel, $260 fitted, nearly $100 cheaper than last time, now old model. 😀

SA14

@Steve will we recognise you now that you're not warped anymore?
