My last one was 73 in a 70 zone, so dangerous i am. Good photo but. Not on bike, my superfast Corolla.

It's a wonder you're still alive after 72ks, 73 is really pushing the safety limit.  Oh wait, yeah, we can actually go at 110 in other places & manage quite satisfactorily & not all perish whenever we go to overtake someone.

Speed isn't in itself dangerous, I've seen plenty of dangerous drivers that were nowhere near any speed limit. They are just inconsiderate drivers, who lack awareness of their surroundings. Then you get the 'entitled' assholes who just don't give a f*ck, me first, get outta my way. Then there's the moron who'll cut you up at the most astonishing timing, then sit there as if he's done nothing wrong. So many assholes out there & you get a ticket for 73 in a 70.
Why, because we're old n an easy target & we'll pay, the yob won't, they'll just rack it up & a kind judge will wipe their fines as they've accumulated too much of a debt & they'll never finish paying it.

:soapbox:   Right, off to have another cool glass of water . . .
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Must have already got his quota Roo

yeah, places like Desert Road central NZ  100kph seems so sloooow !    you come across a snail and get up it ! look down and see 140 !!!  you think, I'd go to jail for that?>?? Pathetic really?

VladTepes

Absolutely - speed doesn't kill. Stopping suddenly can though, which I why i don't know why we have brakes

@grog what bars are they mate (brand). I have R&G sliders and while they have done the job they don't actually stop the cases copping some gravel rash in the event of a drop (have saved tank though)

Black is better anyway.
What a scum to sell those as perfect condition though.

After being inspired by the Healtech accessory power supply module then quickly turned off after I saw the price I cleaned up my accessory wiring around the battery.
I fitted a relay powering 2 fuses in a nice neat waterproof housing.
The Micro relay is fused to the battery and triggered with accessory power from the fuse horn that then powers 2 mini fuses.
I have powered my gear position indicator and quadlock usb phone charger from one fuse as they are both low current draw and this leaves a spare fuse for any further mods.
It fits nicely behind the ECU attaching to the wheel liner and clears the tray that drops in above it too.
I did fit a little bit of foam tape on the ECU to stop any rubbing.
Instead of 1 relay and 2 fuses the holder can hold 4 fuses if needed, or 2 relays.

Changed spark plugs - old ones didn't look too bad apart from corrosion on the bodies.
Also had a think about doing a PAIRS bypass  :confused1:
Furkling with the bike during my lunch hour is another good part about working from home!
