Some solid merbau (aussie hardwood) predressed boards, 1800x600x25mm thick to upgrade my workbench, they were on special at Bunnings for $30 each. Will rip one lenghtways, making the other 960mm wide, and add a 50 or 100mm upstand  at the back.  Wife is jealous as my workbench will look better than her laundry benchtop  :boogie2:
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

GSXKING

That is incredible value. Pics please when your majestic work bench is complete  :onya: :onya:
GSXKING 3:^)

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Hooli

I bought 23.02ltrs of petrol, odd that as I'd swear 14s have 22ltr tanks...  :confused1:

Explains why it was spluttering a bit though, I'll have to check the sender at some point as it was showing one solid bar not the 'everything flashing' thing.

Bought this to do the TPS  (hopefully) :)
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Ohm my gawd, Watts is it? don't Hertz yourself.

You're not going to read the manual are you  :stir: that's reserved as the last resort  :whistling:
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

A meter named Vici, its female logic could be anything.  :)

Finlay, after 6 weeks wating, ordered magneto cover gasket arrived, so I can assemble engine, add oil and pass MOT to ride my 14! My Triumph is nice to ride, but I would prefer to commute on 14, cause I can comfortably reach ground during traffic liht stops :)
Also, desided to replace low-presasure fuel hose, cause 17 years are doing their thing with rubber.
Fork dust seals, for future days.

Also, desided I need a hydration pack, for my off pavement rides. Funny thing I notice - riding on gravel and trail, you sweat much more then on hard pavement  :confused1:, and without drinking headache are easy to come

No always a good sign when when the font used to print the handbook looks dodgy

I bought a Shark Spartan Carbon - Guintoli DBY Helmet today after reading lots of very good reviews.

My current Shoei is 12 years old and although in great condition (cosmetically at least) I finally decided it's well past it sell by date and needed changing for safety reasons. Not a clue what it cost me new but probably no more than £20 to £30 a year over 12 years so not much cash for a potentially life saving piece of kit.

No doubt there are loads of us still using helmets past their 5 year recommended life span. Wondered who's got the oldest that's still in use?

Irish in Oz

I still have a couple of these helmet from back in 1985, on display I think the foam inside the lining deteriorated after about 15 years.
This model made my RZ500 very fast.
