Spot on that man!!   2 x pairs of 662's, from the 70s, I also use a pair of 66's, which I personally prefer.
Spent several hundreds fitting all new up-rated cap's & they still sounded crap, so I had £500.00 worth of new crossovers made, again still crap,  that's when I realized  deafness has kicked-in, on hearing aids now. :bugga:
I DO have to grow old, I DO NOT have to grow up.

I had the 15XR and Ditton 30 until I bought the ARC 101, gave them away on exit to Oz, kept the turntable and amp should have kept the speakers  :bugga:

Lawrie, impressive speakers. I love my old stereo, even the youngies agree. Having said that, few years back i bought a Sony I Pod dock/ radio. Usually sits in kitchen but inbuilt battery means anywhere. Its light n tiny, 300mm x 180 x 100. Its sound amazes me, not in good stereo class but i often think wow, is that pumping that out. Even has good bass. $600 was well spent.

I still have a NAD 3020 and Rega Planer 3 from the early eighties  :)

I've still got my early 80's NAD3020 as well. Brilliant amp. :onya:
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Well I have to be honest and say my systems are in storage and these days I use a sound bar and a little speaker I bought in Lidl, travels with me, blue tooth of the phone and laptop. Does me fine because like Lawrie I have cloth ears now after Motorhead and AC/DC concerts.

Globalrider

Sansui gear for me - DB9090 ad G8000 receiver/amps!
I need to go somewhere I've not been but won't know until I get there!

Horse

Bought a Shoei GT Air II helmet in matt  black and blue finish, first Shoei I've had, will be interested to see how it goes. Felt very comfy on in the shop. My old shark was comfy but noisy.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Chrisl

I bought a rear fender from Msp for £90 , List is £181 ! Very good price as I was about to buy one at list less 15%.
First step in returning my bike to standard, need a set of indicators if anyone has them in their bottom drawer?
