I just feel drained, tired, and have no motivation.   I'm a bit over getting older with health issues and getting up at 3:15am for work.  I need to be more motivated to aim for an end date and get out of here.
I'm 30 and I already want to get out of the rat race

Andre

I didn't want to get out of the rat race. My body and especially my mental state tried to tell me otherwise. Just told 'em to f... off. Typical workaholic. Took many years of constant decline before I finally capitulated.

Froudy, at 55 my arthritis was wrecking me. I refuse any operations. My hands were so bad, not good for a mechanic. 9 yrs later, magnesium has been my friend, now as good as new. Totally no pain. Just a thought.

Thanks @grog
I actually got some Magnesium supplement tablets last week and have started taking them. 100Mg three times a day. Did it take long before you started to notice the benefits?

To be honest I'm not keen on having operations either. Even though I had my left hip replaced two years ago it is now as painful again as before I had it done..Can't quite see how that can be as the complete joint was replaced??
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Froudy, i always have 650 mg per day. Cant rem how long it took to kick in. Riding i used to get arm aches, shoulders. Even in my 30s. Maybe those Ducatis had heavy throttle/clutches. 64 now, best ive ever been in memory. Mag spray is used for quick relief. Mate, im no naturopath or medical alternaive person. Just works. I used to stand on 1st tee at golf, dread pain of first hit, hands were on fire. Not now.

That joint was "amputated". Maybe some thing like phantom pain. More likely muscles, tendons, ligaments are not in the same positions as before and are "stressed". Try massages and warmth.

Wisdom tooth coming out didn't go well.

Lots of pain from a dry socket. Gum receded and sharp edge of jaw bones came through. Possible infection.

Back on antibiotics and codeine..

I'm booked in for next Wednesday to get the bone cut back.

Doesnt sound fun Tony. Tooth ache stuff is the worst. Earlier this year at my daughters dentist shop, had to have clean below gum line. Was a cold , windy day. Head full of pain, big pain. My ride home one of my worst ever. I collapsed in bed when home. A bloody Kombi tried to side swipe me on that ride, dont think i even cared.

Kiwifruit

Had intended to go for a ride with the bride but crappy weather put a stop to that. Went to Mt Maunganui for fish and chips instead
"Gotta chip mista"  :onya:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Hooli

Typical bird - "nah I'm not hungry", then snaffles all your chips.

Today (Sunday) I continued getting the boat & trailer ready for the new season. Wheels off, 1 at a time, clean out old grease, check bearings & seals, repack bearings & install & set bearing play just nice for each.  Front 2 have discs, bit more involved with them, they got new pads & brake fluid as well & 1 bearing needed replacement.  Banged on a new master cyl at the same time.  Nearly ready for it's busy time, just some surface rust to deal to & a bit of grey sealer / primer. Maybe a spray of top coat too.
Then did an oil & filter change in the Merc, reset service indicator & took for a test, all good.  Everything went well, so had time for a quick ride in the late afternoon sun.  Productive day & everything went as it should, for a change.   Roast for tea & a beer to follow. Great day!
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Lucky you Col!!!

Well actually, these 'ships' carry boats!

Stan
I need to go somewhere I've not been but won't know until I get there!

Geat day Col, well done. So many wait to do their bearings by the side of the road at xmas

No trailer worries for you then Stan   :onya:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Just so ya know, Hoki are caught by trawling.  I pursue Blue Cod, Snapper, Groper, Gurnard, Terakihi etc. Also on the menu, but not caught by line are Crayfish (Lobster) Green Lipped Mussels and Paua (abalone)
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Thanks Col. I know nothing about fishing . Hoki tastes unreal. Once caught a Gurnard, not really pretty fish. Groper, they sure are big. One in aquarium at Hervey Bay is huge. Forgot until now, i caught a Spanish Mackeral, Weighed exact 30kg, took me 45 minutes to reel in.
