@seth
Are you donating in $AUD or £Sterling? I'll admit I haven't tried (this year) yet, but last year I'm sure I didn't get charged for a payment in £Sterling (if you donate in £Sterling then when @VladTepes sees it in his Paypal, it will automatically show as $AUD)

UPDATE: I just tried this - selected payment as friends and family, put the forum email address in (admin@gsx1400owners.org) for donations, it showed then a screen that allowed me to put in the amount in £Sterling and what the admin address would receive in $AUD. Did advise the amount shown included their conversion rate, but there was no charge for sending the money at all.
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement :lol:

@seth     I'm getting the same 'fee' added when it comes to paying it. However, It's not pap pal, it's the credit card company (bank) that's charging the fee. In my case it was 40% of the donation extra, while I don't mind the org getting it, I really don't like paying the bank an additional 40% on top!
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

40% FMD, that doesn't sound right at all mate.

Sure Paypal are thieves and take a cut, but thats the price of service and convenience.
It's still the best way for overseas transactions.

You say there's a credit card fee being charged - sometimes cards will charge 1-2% as a processing fee but there is definitely something wrong with that 40% you mentioned. I'd have a  chat with your bank if I was you and ask them WTF is going on.

If you are donating, do so in your own country's currency that way any conversion fees are taken at this end out of what comes out. That's how it was last time as well and it all worked out fine.

   Bought this today, I've always liked the colour scheme/graphics on the 2000 model gsxr750

   And it's been a few years since i've owned one!  :rolleyes:   and it'll probably remind me why i decided to sell the last one too :doh:   :)  :)

Just seen this Milt, I had the K4 version brand new, also in blue and white, one of the very few new bikes I've had. Have to say most fun I've had on two wheels, awesome bike. Enjoy  :onya:

We went to Ikea today I had a list of two items, guess how many we came home with.
They don't sell Volvo parts because you don't need them.

Hooli

It was the other day I bought these but I tested them today - Kies heated trousers.

Yeah it's not really cold enough for them yet, but it's cool enough to try them & I'm pretty impressed. They aren't cheap, but they'll make winter riding much nicer. The only way I'd improve them is for the heated section to be wider, it covers the front of my thighs great but if it went around the sides to fully cover past my hip bone it'd be even better. I think the outsides of my legs will still get cool in really cold weather.
