Happy birthday and many many more for you as well as Mum and Dad :cheers:

Notty

Took the 14 for an MOT - testing guy came out from the test garage and said its failed !! I was shocked and  asked what on he says its too clean !!! any advisories I asked, yes he said a fleck of dust on ht exhaust !! He said he normally puts gloves on to keep the dirt off his hands but for my bike it was so that he didn't get fingerprints on it - he said its the cleanest bike he has MOT'd in last 25 years !!  :)
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Happy birthday from Ireland lad :onya:

@Notty
If it's that clean I'd be terrified to drive it in our shitty roads this side of the world  :happy1:

This weekend started removing pool and 20 yr old deck. Was going to rebuild, now seeing under wouldve been a total rebuild. 20 yrs of water, Aussie sun does that. Will be a big job but happy with just a few days.

Knocked off work at lunchtime, get home & take the bike up to Kaikoura for a quick blast. (Left my hearing aids up there in the weekend) then home again.  4 hrs return. 350K's.   :imrgreen:
Videoed the whole trip (25gb) & have down loaded to the laptop,  :computer_type: along with lots of my other wee jaunts, including 2 round south island trips.   :cheers:  They'll give me something to watch when I'm no longer riding.

Boring old me, yeah i know i am. My pool is an above ground sunk into ground. Steel frame with liner and struts. Just had a look tonight, each strut has 50 bolts by 16. Thats my project on Saturday, no golf, no ride, just undo fn bolts. Beer will be nice after. For sale, 800 10mm bolts. Nuts n washers included.  :)

I got halfway through a total rewire on a mate's Reliant trike.

The engine is wired up & runs, half the lights are wired so it's basicly just the switchgear to finish connecting up & the rear lights. I didn't start till 12 though & as it rained for an hour that seemed enough progress by 6. The previous wiring was such a mess of random colours & sizes joined together badly etc that he'd just ripped everything off ready for me so it really was from scratch. I'll finish it tomorrow.
