Ok so I'll be adding pictures as i go
To my front-end rebuild and upgrade.

So far
I've stripped the front off the bike
(Wheel, forks,handle bars,headlight,yokes,brakes, oilcooler,exhaust and frame bearings.)
Rubbed down and de-rusted the frame .

I've now repainted the frame.

Though I'd better make an effort as some quality going on it during the rebuild .
It's going to be great once it's finished (no pressure on your bit lol )

@Blubber I know finally got my house on the market so have the time to get all the bits I've collected fitted on to the bike .
Looking forward to following your 1550 build next

I'd convinced myself it was a 1550 but 1700 will be great can't wait to see the numbers it gives out .

I'm hoping to bring my bike over in April so that's my deadline to get it back on the road.

I got some more time in the garage so today I fitted the yokes
( these are yokes we are not American so will always be yokes  :frustrated:)
They look quite good paint blue still wondering if I add some white if the bike will turn faster  :stir:

Hopefully back at it later

Do not add white! It will make steering slower! :smoke:

Blubber

Looking good.

Nice to see you found some tinkering time  :onya:

Hi Seth looking good finishes off the big muscle bike look. 👍👍

Bob

Not a fan of these triple trees  not even in silver, but it's your bike, not seen a standard type top yoke that looks ok with usd's, also front guard also will look weird, soz
