That really deserves a cool number plate thread, but there are so few it's not worth the trouble.

This isn't lame, but rather intrigues me -

I saw a Merc yesterday with the number plate ZAMBEZI.
In the same parking space today another Merc LIMPOPO.
I'd love to know the story behind that.

I guessed there would be a Qld 14GSX plate, and also guessed it would be gone! I was right on both counts. When I looked it up PPQ offered me "146SX" and "14G5X", not really the same, and not cheap at $2395 !



I did see "JADE XX" on a young lady's car on the way home from work today.
