Fitted Braided clutch hose yesterday..
Later I will modify the fitment of the rear Braided Brake hose.

I plan to fix the LH front caliper today. One of the pistons was 50/50 if just sliding it back in would solve it sticking last week & it obviously didn't.

I did both again to make sure it was right this time, found one slightly sticky on the other side too. Odd as it felt ok last week, but never mind.

I've got brakes now :)

I buy a rear caliper bracket adapter for my GSX1400 :boogie:

@cwhmotoa
Where did you find that caliper and adapter? Was it expensive?
I have tried to find better rear brake to my 14.

Put the new plugs in, old ones looked ok but very dry on the threads. Put coppercote on the threads and they wound in with fingers until seated. Blew out the air cleaner but I will replace it next time I'm at the bike shop. Adjusted the throttle cables. Lubed the chain. Blanked the Pairs off with a rubber grommet in the line that was just made for the job. Interested to see if I notice a difference.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Went for a quick ride this afternoon.  Today l checked and adjusted tyre pressures, lubed and adjusted the chain, l reckon it was 1mm out when measuring with vernier as suggested in chain and sprockets thread. That made a difference to how it sounded.Returned home after a couple of minutes as l had adjusted the gear shift linkage and had made it a tad too high. Much of the play had been on the actual shaft. The linkage had never been pinched up tight.
Adjusted the shift linkage and with a 10mm spanner in my pocket off l went again.
This time the bike was just a pleasure to ride. Just out for 20 minutes......my flu dictated this !!
Hard to say much about blanking the Pairs as l had done so much other stuff aswell.
Certainly thats the best it has ridden in a long time.
Steering head bearings are next on the list for a service. A happy day  :boogie2:

Fitted new chain and sprocket kit last week and then yesterday I did the clutch slave cylinder seal mod.
It only took literally 20 mins to do the mod including cleaning the crap out from behind the round tin plate. It's definitely going to save all the crap getting into the piston area.
I got my Father in Law to bring the seal back with him when he went to stay with his Son in Florida. I opted to do it this way as it should have worked out a hell of a lot cheaper buying from the USA. Unfortunately the carriage charged to get it from the dealer bumped the price up to a total of £14 delivered. I could have got it from the UK cheaper :furious:
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Finished giving the Triumph a complete top to bottom clean after my recent Alps trip. Also took the opportunity to fit my new DRL's to my Barkbusters, these glimmer as well - very happy with how it's all turned out, nice high position for them so hopefully those cage drivers will see me coming!
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

I rode it home from work thinking 'that feels odd'. Wiggled bits when I got home & after just 17 years & 118k one of the rear wheel bearings seems to be going clunk. Damn poor quality that!

I'll strip it down tomorrow night & if I'm right I'll replace the fronts too as they are also original. Oh & a sprocket carrier bearing for luck as they wear out just by looking at the bike.

I think a letter to Suzuki about quality of parts called for Andy demanding they cover costs as a good will gesture (given its low mileage)  :rofl2:
