Bought all new bushes , oil seals and Dust seals for my front fork refresh early next week.
Keeping labour costs down by removing the forks myself and dropping them off (with new parts) at a mechanics..

$50 worth of fuel for the Ute.

A $10 jet wash for the Ute.

Went through the bargain bins in Aldi and got 500 cable ties (I use them for fixing / moving / changing the mesh around the hens pen) and a  torch / floodlight thing that has a hook and a magnet and is charged from the mains or 12v. I think the two items together were $20.

End of last weeks bough Stephen Fry's reading of The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy which I'm enjoying every time I drive anywhere.

It's very apt as he and Douglas Adams were close friends.

Have you seen the series that Stephen Fry did "Last Chance to See" about endangered animals?
He basically revisited the series that Douglas had done years earlier.

As for fuel I filled my ute too.  $115. Bloody hell.
