Tonight I got home just before darkness and fitted the brackets and the LED's I have told you about..

I temporarily wired them up as I had said (to the horn live and an earth point... The horn mounting nut)..
They work very well indeed..
The photo doesnt show how bright these things are.. Maybe the camera cant cope!!
Look at how much whiter they are than the headlight.. The headlight has an Osram Night breaker in by the way !

Looking at the effect of the LED's I would say that I am going to stick to my guns in that the oil cooler radiator cover is a better place than next to the horns..
My way means the LED's are further apart !

1st Photo shows the little corner brackets i used...
2nd and 3rd photo shows them in action as the light fades..
I am very pleased overall.
I fitted them within 20 minutes !!
But as I said in my other post I had pre tinned the very thin wires on the LED's.

The wires need shortening by about a foot then it will be a neater installation. I will do that tomorrow morning.

All Lives Matter
...until you multiply them by the speed of light squared. Then all lives energy.

Thanks Del..
Very easy to do and it does no damage to the bike at all.
They can be removed in 5 mins if needed.

Looks like you should stand out a lot better now.  :onya:
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Notty

impressive Simon  - did it affect the working of the horns ?  :clapping:

Notty..
the horns work as normal.
Just remember NOT to use the earth wire on the horn.
I clamped the LED's earth wire between the horn mounting plate and the frame where the mounting plate fits.
The live wire from the LED I trapped into the live spade connection on the horn.
That live wire is live when the ignition is on.

I suspect the horn works by the horn button connecting the horn to earth.

Nice work Speedy and thanks for the info on your wiring - I have ordered a set of small LED's and am going to do something similar  :onya:
