Breadbox is a very appropriate term for the cat, I've heard a 2020 z1000sx with a humongous single silencer with decat and it did sound OK. That being said the gsx sounds awesome so if I need some sound therapy then it's gsx time
Thankfully we all like different things, and I like a modded GSX1400

So, what did I buy today?  ???

Absolutely, nothing but I did burn up, a full tank of petrol. Yeeha.  :smitten:

Something, to ponder.   :stir:  :stir:  :whistling:

In the UK, if you earn an average wage, for every £100 you earn, £28 goes to the Gov.

Leaving you £72.

If you hen buy £70 of petrol, they take another, £39 in tax.

That's £67 out of your £100

Yup, plus the VAT on top of the fuel excise, tax on a tax....
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Or Theft, for a shorter name.

Exactly, theft. No matter where you live, they pretend to help but they just rob us. They finish their term or get voted out, claim massive pensions, then try to acclimatise back into society saying they were good. Good for fuck all I reckon, just lining their own pockets. So glad I like bikes, footy, golf, no time for politics crap. Look what it's delivered from that US wanker.

Spent 748AUD on BMW parts: new timing chain, guides, all gaskets and seals, rocket cover gubbins and one time use aluminium engine cover bolts (they torque to say 10Nm then 90deg turn), secondary air tube (guaranteed the original one will crumble as i take it off, plus some preventative stuff like coolant pump o rings, clutch slave gasket etc.  Should be here in 4-6 weeks apparently...

Meanwhile on the Suzuki side of the garage, she got a wash, tyre pressures and chain tension checked.  Rode to work the other day, the morning was OK, but coming home with all the easter traffic was just bonkers

Actually, I had already, vectored in the Vat

But how much more of the £33 you have got left, would go in tax when you bought something else with it.  :whatever:

If anyone in the UK is looking for oil, Motul semi is 40% off at demon tweaks, makes it about £45 for 5ltrs and a hi-flo filter delivered.

Today new carby for my Honda mower. Chinese copy for total of $15 landed. Yeah I know, Chinese rubbish you say.Anyway bolted on easily, everything in correct place. Started first pull on choke, settled into idle, revs to max no probs. Not even one adjustment required. If it lasts one season I'm happy👍

I've fitted Chinese carbs on a couple of little bikes for people over the years and both have just worked too.
