More plants.

Now most of the building work / groundwork's is done I've started putting in hedges.

Already put in around 100 Red Robins in the front, put in 50+ Double Flowering Mays at the rear. Now putting in another 25 Red Robins and 28 Murraya's as the start of two new hedges nearer the sheds, and 9 Leylandii nearer the hens.  I'm going to need a huge amount more, but it's a long term project so a few every time I go to town is better on my wallet and back.

Last owner only fenced for cattle so 1 of the gates around the house is a foot off the ground and I have to drop another gate against it to keep the dog in. Rarely use it due to this (4 other gates in) but I'd still like it done. New 4.3m gate and gate posts on the to do list.   I think I still have about 6 x 4.2m gates down near the creek. Crazy last owner used them to go around a dam to keep cattle out, bloody expensive fence!

I shall expect a shipping container then for my order from them...
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Reckon you're right Eric. Great place to shop IMO You do need to know part number, easiest way

Definitely, and not just Suzuki parts, all the other jap bike brands, plus aftermarket like Yoshimura, RK takasago chains and so on.

I've been talked into buying a Bluetooth intercom thing, never seen the point really & not missed having music when riding. But I gave in & ordered a Fodsports M1-S Pro the other day. Took a load of faffing to fit it last night, I had to keep fiddling with the cable runs so I couldn't feel them & could still use the clips holding the liner in my lid.
I have to say I wasn't impressed last night as it didn't seem very loud when just trying it with some music from my phone while sat in my kitchen. Surprisingly today, it turns out to be great. Nice & clear at *ahem* per hour and easily loud enough without the volume on max. Not used the intercom function yet, but so far I'm surprised for £58.

How old is your lid, mine is set up for installation of said Bluetooth intercom thingy.

Another useful (imho) thing is you can answer mobile while riding, but mostly we ride to get away from the pesky things.  :coffeescreen:

Having said that I don't have one.  But I have considered it many times.

I cannot go cycling without music however.

To Infirmity and Beyond.. :-)

Mines got the 'oles for the speakers etc. I just had to faff with the wiring runs a bit to figure what worked best. It's not that old, it's a Shoei NXR.

Dwain Dibley

Shoei, my helmet of choice too.  :onya:

Arai are for cavemen with sloping brows, bloody noisy too.

I gave up with cheaper makes as they don't last for the mileage I do, even this lid is on its second liner to keep it fitting right.

I was talked into helmet speaker  phone thingo. Fitted it all up, holes in helmet, places for wires, microphone etc.One ride, not for me.Ear plugs and my usual sounds I prefer. If they want me, next stop shows text or missed call.Just my way.

Hooli

I've no intention of answering calls on it or pairing it with many people. Same as there's not many people I'd chose to do a long road trip in a car with.

Did the long car trip yesterday, her brand new car. We just chose to sit back, her music etc. 5 hours of bonding, her talking about our old road trips, me the driver when she was a kid. Amazing to re establish with my amazing Daughter. Taran her name, proudest day, no money could pay yesterday.

An aftermarket rear disc and 6 genuine Suzuki bolts.

B-King and Gen-2 Busa use the same wheels.

I have 3 sets of wheels, 3 different colours, 3 different tyres.
Doesn't take long to swap them over.

All 3 fronts have a pair of discs each.
Only 2 of the rears have a disc.

I'm not a huge fan of swapping the disc over each time and reusing the thread locked bolts that never seem to age well even with a quality Allen wrench.

Another disc and 6 new bolts fixed that.

My favorite tyre guy doesn't want to work with bikes now and only fits to lose wheels. I'll fit the black wheels to the B-King with their legal tyres and get him to put some new S23's onto the gold wheels that have some pretty tired tyres.  He's 160k's away but I need to go to the city to buy firebricks for the log burner and a few other things.
