Two videos of road ahead...very clear.
Audio quite subdued.
West Coast and not raining? Videos obviously AI generated.
There's always room in the world for a bit more tolerance and kindness.

Yeah, audio it's not going to be any good, not a worry though, all you'd hear is wind noise & possibly a bit of engine noise on occasion.  I keep the sound off for playback.

As for not raining, yeah we try to keep that a secret else we'd be inundated with norf islanders.  Joking aside, we've had rain for weeks on end, but yesterday & today were ok, managed to get out for a ride.  Tomorrow is looking like it maybe ok too, but we don't hold our breath . . .

Well, Bilbo's saga continues....had planned to go for a ride yesterday, had to cut it short after minutes as the bike is un-rideable, that is, i don't feel I can safely control this thing.  Fuelling is terrible down low. It does not want to idle and spits and backfires on closed throttle, the bike bucks and is basically a pig to ride.

Will check TPS and STPS and try to balance the TB's if possible.

I am now suspecting the ECM, but I dont feel like spending any more cash on it until I know for sure.  All sensors and mechanicals check out, I re-checked the wiring to the ECM, and could not find any faults, broken wiring or similar.

Would be great to test it by using a known working ECM, if anyone in Oz has a 'spare' lying around, I'd be happy to pay return postage.

Also thinking about a PC3 or 5, may be an alternative solution.

Failing that, I'll have to admit defeat and take it to my local suzuki workshop for diagnosis and repair.

Checked my usual parts go-to: mickhone.com, a new genuine ECM is A$2433.20. Part number is 32920-42F11 for a K2/K3
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Surely someone over there can do without their 14 for a while to assist in the diagnosis of this?  I have one but think sending it international & back could be a bit of a nightmare.

This is a sad story Eric. That ecu price is out of the question. A tester is needed, must be a K2 14 somewhere wrecked. Facebook might be needed to find, ive tried all i can think of.

T250

Don't know if this is any good Eric? I know it's in the Uk they might do shipping for you, if not you could get it sent to me and perhaps you could get shipping/collection arranged from your end?

Thanks for that kind offer T250, I may take you up on that, but I will talk to my local Suzuki workshop first, maybe they can reflash this ECM, I don't know.

Rang them today, 3 week wait to get it looked at.  At least they said they should be able to communicate with it, so that's a start.  Am going to try a hard reset tonight, then check the TPS and STPS.

Oil & filter done.  Gulf Western Synergy 3000 10w-40 and Ryco RCX102.  If it stopped raining for more than 2 minutes I'd get it out for a run up the coast, but not likely for the next few days.

Decided to order some better aftermarket indicators than what's fitted at the mo.  They look more like originals than the little LED units on there.

Typical, I had spares for everything, Oil Filters, air filters & K & N cleaning kit, indicators, heaps of stuff, sold it all in a job lot with the Blue, now everytime I want something I have to go buy it again. c'est la vie.

Hooli

I took the tractor out for a run yesterday, just to give it some use. Didn't go far but it was sunny & photographers were out. This is the S-bend near Squires for those that know.

Had the front wheel off (again) getting ready for the new rotors, they're in the country & cleared customs, so I hope to see them by Monday.  Cleaned the rotor mounting bolts as they had another layer of blue loctite on them, ran a tap through the threads on the hub to clean those out too. Then decided since it's all accessible, I may as well give the rim a bit of a rub up.  While I was doing this, I realised this would be the first time in the bikes life that the front wheel has been polished up.  I know I've never done it & I'm sure the original owner never had the front off, so he never did it either.  Came up alright, I'll take another one with the new rotors on.
Been looking at new levers & tires!!  God knows why, damn thing isn't even registered!!  Stop throwing money at it. :whatever:
