Brother has multiple KTM - after service is crap and very costly! Always in the shop!

I've owned many KTM's. Never a problem, could be something to do with my maintenance habits? This one's old though so after sales service won't bother me.

Mine don't just get ridden around the block either. I've confidently tackled numerous remote long distance trips (e.g. Simpson Desert). Guess I'm just lucky...

If I believed every comment like yours I read from a random stranger on the internet (most of whom have never actually owned one) I'd probably just walk everywhere to save myself some trouble.

Hey Lurch, for a bit of KTM off road action check out kiwi Chris Birch on U-tube.

He's one very talented rider. I actually have a brother who lives at Cooks Beach which isn't far from Chris Birch. I'm planning to stash a bike with little brother in the future (maybe even another KTM  ) and attend some of his training, or just catch up for a ride during my travels around NZ.

Up at 2:45am, on the road by 3:45am, rain, fog, long wait in some timed traffic light road works, a VERY near miss with some deer, and a 2 and 1/2 + hour drive to a swap meet.

Rain this weekend so not many there.

Did pick up a spare GS750 tail, and chatting with the seller he has some other Suzuki stuff so we've arranged to meet up in the future.

I took the Ute, ramps and some cash but nothing took my fancy.

I don't get to play with those anymore, but I do get to lube up the splines in the drive shaft to the bevel box with Moly Paste.   Ooooh, can't wait
