Got the bike on the road after a couple of months in bits, literally new front forks, all rebuilt. New wavy discs and pads all round and new rear hugger. Open face lid for the win today.

Yesterday it was,  so going by the bbc we are all going to burn unless we go electric, today it's raining so again we all going to drown unless we go electric etc

Just to set the scene & explain while I'll go quiet for a couple of weeks. I loaded the tractor up last night.



After work today I'm riding to Hull to get an overnight ferry to Rotterdam, then turning left a couple of times to ride up Denmark & get another ferry to Norway. I won't get home till the 20th July.

So far the plans are...

U-boat memorial at Kiel, Germany
Jutland Memorial, Denmark
Lots of stave churches, fjords, Viking valley & other gorgeous bits of scenery in Norway. Not forgetting the Atlantic Road & Troll's Ladder

I'm sure I'll bore you all with the photos once I'm back.

Your trip looked pretty amazing Hooli. Very much enjoyed your report and the photos. Interesting to see the ancient history, we don't have that in NZ.

Today fitted pairs blanking plates, only taken 13 yrs to get around to it😂 Used HD engine brightener few weeks back, S100 n/a anymore. Nowhere as good, noticed with tank off today, has left sticky surface, S100 never sticky. Also cleaned external filter, o ring in filter on last legs.Phoned up filter blokes, dont sell o rings separately, doesnt look a common one.Decision,maybe go back to internal filter, cheap Busa type $30. 🤷

Aye odd how that made the whole day good, seeing the little sod looking happy munching on the apple.

After a little trip over the handlebars , the old girl got a some dings fixed and a new coat of paint , thought I asked for Black with a little gold pearl in it , (was overseas) came back to lots of gold pearl and a GREEN bike.Assembled it today and not sure I can live with it but will see if it grows on me ! (like mould I suspect)

Hmm, I can't decide if I like that or not. It's good & looks a quality job, just not sure it's right on a 14.

I'm with you on this Horse, that tank on that bike just doesn't work.  To me it looks like algae at the bottom of pond.  The workmanship looks fine though, just that colour on that bike   - out with the paint stripper . . .
