Hooli

Just finished putting my wheels back in, now drinking a cuppa. As it's sunny I think I'll have to take her out to scrub them in a bit cause it's guaranteed if I don't it'll be raining when I need to use her.

Hooli

90 miles done, they definitely work as tyres. I was too lazy to take pics as I didn't stop anywhere pretty, but imagine a 14 so filthy the white wheels are black except where the new weights are & white salt stains over the mud & on the new tyres.

Nice to get out all the same, it was quite pleasant in the sun.

I can picture that in my mind, but it was quite traumatic for me

So,all normal by the sounds of it Hooli. Ive often thought of getting a rat bike, just ride it, no cleaning, maintenance obviously.

I do clean it, just not as often & carefully as you lot.

The wife's gearing up to head to North QLD for storm/flood damage response so no riding for me this weekend unfortunately. I did manage to polish the headers finally and of course gave the big gal a quick tub today thoughIMG_3459.jpeg

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Paddock stand in the matching slower colours too, that's dedication.

That looks very nice, I really do like the 1/2 polished wheels. Could be a project down the track. 👍

While chasing some running issues have been sorting some updates.

New tapered bars, risers, mirrors, bar ends, exhaust hanger, LED indicators and replaced the 12 year old tyres with a set of Battlax S23. Better pics to come once sorted

Fitted a bike Dashcam - reluctantly. Friends of ours were hit by a car the other day, it was bad and they were very, Very lucky - no life threating injuries, However the official attitude they faced stirred memories of the one I had on the bike a few years ago. Laid up with a fractured pelvis the cop walks in next day to take a statement. After a couple of minutes praising the other driver he looks down at me and says  "We can't figure out how you did it"
Long story short - when the CPS looked at the true facts they prosecuted the other driver but had it been left to this Cop it would have been different.

Hooli

I turned the electric on in my garage so the optimate tops the tractor up. Cause of the way it leaks if it's raining and windy I don't leave it on constantly.

Exciting eh?

I'm surprised you don't lose your mind with all the excitement Mate.   :coffeescreen:  :smitten:
