I think they're a great idea Col. Happy with mine, yet for some on the road I still remain invisible.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Yours are much brighter than the ones I fitted.  They were supposed to be bright, but have an eyeball at the head on one below, same place as yours & very similar style, just not bright.

Still better than no light at all. You'd be surprised how much more visible DRLs make a vehicle, even if they're not that bright to look at.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Aye that. It's something to do with the shape of the pattern of lights rather than being a single light that makes them more noticeable.

Front forks back on with fresh oil and new dust seals, new Venhill brake lines fitted front and rear, now waiting on freshly powdercoated wheels and new rear pirelli tyre to come back so I can fit it

Not very sexy, but fitted a Healtech gear indicator this evening, and went for a quick jaunt to test it...worked as advertised. No more looking for seventh gear for me!

Very tidy little display, and literally plug and go.

Bought it from an Aussie outfit and shipped to NZ...really helpful guy and super quick delivery.
There's always room in the world for a bit more tolerance and kindness.

Yesterday I took mine around the Peak District & visited Magpie Mine. Today I just went to Squires.

Realised why it's so twitchy on the filthy wet roads when I got home. The front tyre is bald on the sides & the rear is nearly illegal in the middle. I think that's the first time I've taken out a front tyre first.

Tomorrow I'll shop about & get yet another pair ordered.

Found a lithium battery that came with my GSXR1100, not sure how old it is but I've had it gathering dust for quite a while.  Dropped it into the GSX1400, hit the button and the thing burst into life !  I was impressed.

I've been looking at Lithium batteries lately myself, for when the R3GT needs a new battery.  SSB Powersport Lithium, seem very good.  They have a BMS that allows charging with normal a alternator or battery charger & they don't loose charge sitting around, like you found out Tony.  They're very light & have a good amount of grunt.

I thought the box was empty ! Ridiculously light for a battery. I've had it a couple of years, it wasn't new when I was given it, it's never been charged.  I know a few folk have had issues in the past but this one really suprised me.

Had a look at lithiums, ssb delivered for 14 $140, same as you mentioned Col. I have ssb lead acid in now, its been great. Diavel i fitted lithium, it was $400 back then but got left for 4 months once and away it went. They recharge 90% in 10 minutes. No brainer what to buy when mine fails.

I have a lithium on my beemer and it's great but it does NOT like the cold, so if you have low (Below 5) degrees in winter it might take a bit to start the bike.
Keep the rubber side down.          Mick
