Good buy Mate, re do calipers, fit new lines, bleed them multiple times, tap every junction each time you walk past. Eventually, after thinking it cant get get better, it does. Mine is now perfect, maybe 2 mm to stopping.Took months but now so damn good. 14mm spanner is a good tapping tool👏

I'm wearing a RJays Leather Jacket I bought when I was 18 .... I'm now 71 🥴🫣🤔 It was worn a lot from 18 - 29 then my son ended up with it and 4 years ago he said I may as well have it back as it no longer fitted him. Fits me perfectly..

After yesterday's ride the bride complained of a sore lower back. So we will see if the Airhawk pillion seat cushion helps her. I really like mine.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Thinking of those as well, may try one under the wind rider 3d mesh cover I've also got fitted.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

FlyWheel

Bought a set of pirelli angel gt's for when the old but very unused Michelin PR4's wear out.

Flywheel, just stick the newies on. PR4 must be at least 6 yrs old. My 14 came with PR3, i didnt know any better but almost sold it, tram tracked, felt strange in front end, was a pig to ride.I loved the rest of it but wasnt sure if i could put up with its handling, my other at the time was a 30 yr old Ducati which handled perfectly.Id tried everything but still the same. I had same with earlier GS1000, was the tyres, Dunlop Elites, very bad, so i changed to Angels on 14.Amazing difference and 12 yrs later still use same.Dont know if PR4 are better than 3.

Wanted 9m of heavy duty 150mm storm water pipe in 3m lengths (so it's easy to transport)
I was on my way home and wasn't spending 2-hours driving around or on the phone.

Bunnings: 3 x 3m pipes, double male ends, and two fittings to joint them...

$303.

Called in at the only other plumbing place I've used locally.
They only sell 6m lengths, but they have female ends. The guys grabbed a saw, cut 2 in half, gave me the 2 with female ends and 1 without...

$148.

True to form, I drove home and found my blue glue has gone off and set solid.

Nearest place we have is rural farm store that a lot local farms and properties use, it's a bit rough and ready, it's right by an abattoir, I think a lot of Bunnings customers would be traumatised in there, it's chaos and dusty, they sell everything from hens and nuts and bolts, to water tanks and vet supplies, and do welding jobs.  They still hand write every receipt out in a duplicate book and tear out the customer copy.

Edit: I'm on bottle gas, 2. X 40kg bottles. A bottle lasts me several months. When 1's empty I mention it to the girls who serv there, one of the girls brothers brings a full one around and swaps it over. Occasionally  I get a bill.   ... I love it !

I'll bet they have some tomorrow.

Thanks for the advice grog.
I have noticed it does feel a little wooden in the front when going around corners alright.

You can check the date code on the tyres. Most companies say up to 10 years old is old but it depends how they're stored. So I'd agree with Grog to improve the bike. Plus when tyres get really old, they go hard & don't wear out, or grip...

We have similar as were on the edge between the urban sprawl and country hardware stores. I love the old school store, can buy individual bolt and nut if you want, not a 50 pack when you only need 2 or 3.
