Andre

Best wishes for a speedy recovery and a much much less horrible process than your wife and you went through.

Eric GSX1400K3

Best wishes to your daughter and Mrs. and you Grog, that's shit news, I'm sure you will all get through.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Thanks for positives on Taran, my Daughter. Has good breeding so will be fine. Today our Casio calculator stopped working. New battery and all good. Batt that came out, tiny little button type, had use by date 10/1990. Now thats amazing i reckon. Other i saw today, park within 4 spaces of EV charging point with petrol vehicle, $2800 fine in Queensland. Guess thats a way of making good Govt bucks.

Today my life long singer hero, Jimmy Buffett passed. Was hoping to see a 4th concert. Maybe not everyones taste but been mine since 70s, hence my little quote, If we wernt all crazy, we would go insane. So sad. RIP.Carribean Cowboy.

In 1980 I was working in Key West, Florida and I lost my dishwasher one night because he was in the Bagatelle restaurant (directly opposite) getting drunk with Jimmy Buffet. Sad day indeed.

A lazy day at home.
Lots of bikes going by today.

I think some of the guys must have got a day release for Father's Day.

I put another plant in, watered a heap of new plants, cut a drain down the plumbers had left high, sprayed a few weeds. Just pottering around the yard.

Wife's home for the next 2 weeks so weekday rides are the go, she can watch my destructo-dog whilst I go out.

Less cops, tourists, day trippers and folk around in the week. A bit more enjoyable when it's quiet.

Lots of riders went past, maybe 100 Harleys in a row, very noisy.

Went to Gilk's Garage cafe today at Kineton Warwickshire and had a bacon bap and latte, a nice place to visit and reasonably priced too. Saw a couple of strokers and my dream car, a TVR Tuscan. A nice run out fora few hours.

GSXKING

Do the strokers get cheap rego there ? They both look in great condition for their age 👍
TVR is a sporty looking thing 🙄
GSXKING 3:^)
Chris
Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Tally

I would like to think so @GSXKing. Classic bike insurance and a limited mileage policy would probably make it quite cheap, I'm only guessing here , someone will know more than I do. :onya:

I've spent three weeks touring Romania by tractor, got back last weekend.

Or that was the plan anyway. Two weeks in while stationary in traffic I got hit from behind, the bike went over as I rolled on the floor & the gearshift was smashed. So I spent the last week bikeless & now have the long wait for the insurance to bring it home & fix it.

Uptil then it was a fantastic trip, the place is heaven for bikes. Fantastic quiet roads, amazing scenery & endless medieval towns & castles to visit. I'll get some pics up once sorted out, including wild bears by the road on the Tranfagarasan where I stood watching bear cubs play about 25ft away.

I'll be going again.
