Kiwicol. im guessing it was a Phase 1 Vanguard. 6 cyl came later. ???? Same motor fitted to Fergie tractors.

Old t20 etc Col,very old. Fitted a clutch to my Old Mans, not a fun job.

The last pic is the Vin plate (if they had that then) but the tag is upside down.  It says Built by the Standard Motor Co Ltd Coventry England, now when you take that & look at the 2nd to last pic (the remains of the rear) I reckon it sorta jumps out what it was.

My guess, a 1953 Standard 8 looking at thr tail and drooping rear fenders.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Is that paint or powder coated, unsure if one is better over the other, gsx wheels need a re doo

Paint. Another guy in the local Busa club does some of the members bikes.

We were originally going to try and match another pair I have in Suzuki factory gold ...



.... but went with something a little different in the end.

I do have a bit of a history of Black or Blue bikes with yellow, gold, bronze wheels. Katana, GSXR's, B-King etc. I'm very much still in the 1980's... LOL

Black with gold wheels will always work, my xjr was the same, jps lotus etc 👍👍👍
