DanGSX's 14

Hey all,

Thought it's about time I get a pic up of the steed.

Bought it last summer from a garage in Greenock, Scotland. I know there was a member on the old Org who said he knew who owned it previously, but anyway, it's got 36k miles now, but I think she's looking good for the age. Except those ugly hand guards. I want them off, but the damn allen bolts have rounded out. Hah. But seriously, I just couldn't resist buying her when I saw those twin pipes and the black paintwork...wow...Most beautiful bike in the world (the 14 in general).

I came from a Honda CB600 hornet. I'll put a pic in of that too. Loved the thing. Didn't think i'd ever want another bike...Until I placed by eyes on the mighty GSX.

I've just come back from a ride right now. The power never fails to leave me speechless. The violent shaking like it's going to take off like a plane when you've almost maxed out the speedo...

Anyway, here's the pics of both my bikes. Needless to say, the yellow one never gets used now.

I agree. Although it's actually a blue n white in disguise, hence the white wheels. One of the Prev owners got it done black. I only found out through the old records, but it's listed as black on my V5, so it's a black one to me

The twin pipes are smart and the white wheels go quite well with the black, I didn't notice them
until I read your post, I just thought that's a smart looking 1400.

Sorry mate but the hand guards do look like vomit.

Many thanks for the kind words.

@RickC - It's the truth mate. I'm going to have to either get the garage to drill them out or do it myself. I'm not even sure how they're connected into the bike as they have two cables coming from them which power two strips of LED lights. Soon as I've got rid of those and the screen, it'll be perfect in my eyes.

Seems like the most appropriate thing to do with a Blue and White one - paint it Black I mean!!!
