Tough decision, I'm sure. Good luck with your new ride.
Aka Chris Leam on the original Org.

Like the look of the VStrom 800, been keeping an eye open for something with which to do some touring that allows us to explore the unsealed roads.
The 650 VStrom comes with a proven reputation but I think the HP drop from a 14 when two up might leave me a bit underwhelmed.
Nice choices Daytona, enjoy your new rides.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Roadglide Ultra Col, plenty of room on those.  :whistling:

A Tri Glide Ultra would offer better stability on the unsealed roads, especially when two up.
There's always room in the world for a bit more tolerance and kindness.

Cars are always more stable than bikes.

Sad days @Daytona, let go of mine almost 10 years ago now, and still regret having to it, but for me it too was becoming unmanageable, same as you.

Still got to z900?
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

You boys are just being silly....
if I wanted something to tow a plough I'd get a Massey Ferguson.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

Bloody hip cramps, I've spent the last 6 months physio, chiro, exercises, stretching. Nothing has helped.Sell my 14??Not a thought I enjoy.  Apart from a forward controls bike are any others going to help the cramps?

Nice choice of replacements, both far lighter and lower than the GSX.
Did you encourage the new owner of said GSX to join our group ?
May I be so bold as to ask the selling price and condition ?

Please don't think you have to leave us either. Once a GSX1400 owner always an owner 🙏🙏
GSXKING 3:^)

Best allrounder I've ever owned 👍

Hip cramps are tiresome...led me to sell my previous bike and buy a 14. I'm unsure where I'll head if I ever get such cramps on this one.

When that happens ya head to a 2nd gen Rocket with feet forward, absolute game changer for me. :onya:
