Mum dying 😭

We interred Dad and Mums ashes at their favourite holiday spot. Kingscliff in northern NSW.
Scott came up with the heart idea.
We put Dads ashes on his side and Mums on hers then closed it over. The tide will come in shortly and disperse those. The ashes we had left we scattered on the water as it came in.
I spoke my poem and felt very teary 🥲

Thank you Greg I'm still coming to terms with both of them not here physically. A cloudy day and skies cleared for sun to beam down on them.
I'm a Buddhist so hope they're in a higher plain now 🙏🙏✅

What a great finale Chris, you & Scott have done a great job, peaceful & respectful and in a place that means a lot.  Our wish is for our ashes to be scattered to the sea.  I hate death and funerals, too many close ones, but as we age, the more they come around.
