Which one is you in the pics ?

Do you remember the journalists name ?

Yes the old Suzuki shaft drive was spot on. No pitching or yawing and the power loss was minimal. Not too many, could keep up with me in those days. Slowed down a bit, now though.  :rofl2:   :happy1:

Which one is me?  Time to put the glasses away and buy a pair of binoculars mate.  :rofl2:  :happy1:

Sorry, no. Can't remember his name at all. It would have been around 85 or 86 though.  :onya:

The only, bike that I ever regretted selling.

I've got one the same colour buried in my shed somewhere.

Wish that I did.

Here's the cosmetics.
I often ride with a mate that still has his from brand new.

His is still on the road with historic plates here in Oz. He even has original exhausts on it, I was with him last week.
He frequents the forum as he had a 1400 up until recently. Where are you Johno!

1000G agree, excellent bike.Never had any problems with it. I had 4 into 2 made with Conti mufflers, sure sounded sweet.

It's a shame, Suzuki didn't continue the shaft drive.

A lot, less messing about changing the oil every other service than tensioning chains and the 14 has more, than enough power,

to cope.  :smitten:

Like to see some photos of that if you can coax your mate Johno into re-emerging.  :smitten:
