I've been scrolling through Pinterest for pics of bikes that took my fancy when I was 16yo.
The girls were an added bonus 😝

I seem to remember @seth got the girly treatment photoshoot done on one of his GSX's.  Don't think he ever shared the pic's though.

Shortened seat / rear frame rails and tail,  rear sets, high bars, cut down seat, both wheels relaced with wider 18" rims to take early GSXR size tyres, steering damper, fork brace etc etc.   Too butchered to have any classic value, but kept in the spirt of the time.  Very few modern parts or bling, other than 1 Hayabusa part folk very rarely spot.
45 years on and it still has a bit of Old Skool Kool.

This one is getting close to 40 years old too....

Fark!  Bikes I remember being the "New Thing" are 40 and 45 years old !!

You dragged that pic outta the archive Jeff, I've seen it before.  Looks like she'd eat an apple through a tennis racket.

My old GS 1000 G. :notworthy:

Sold it to a man, who turned out, to be a freelance journalist. He rode it around the world and they published his story in

Back Street Heroes Magazine.  :salute:

If only, we could turn back time.  :onya:

Ah the '80's, fast bikes and no Karen's! Was busted doing 164kph on SW Highway, rode home eventually received a two month suspension.
May the sun be warm & shining and your roads be smooth & winding.

Yes the old Suzuki shaft drive was spot on. No pitching or yawing and the power loss was minimal. Not too many, could keep up with me in those days. Slowed down a bit, now though.  :rofl2:   :happy1:

Which one is me?  Time to put the glasses away and buy a pair of binoculars mate.  :rofl2:  :happy1:

Sorry, no. Can't remember his name at all. It would have been around 85 or 86 though.  :onya:

The only, bike that I ever regretted selling.
