This looks like a good one Dave, do you have a picture of it mounted on the bike please?

Cheers

IMO only. If you want voltmeter, might as well get with 12v socket and usb built in. That's what mine is, clamps on bars. Cheap as and has lasted many years.

@Will14 Pete I've had a look through my pictures of my GSX1400 and can't find any showing the monitor mounted (and I doubt that a picture of it mounted in my BMW will of much use LOL). I used to have it mounted using a bracket I made on my 14 inside the cockpit fairing I had.

The bracket I made was from a material called Kydex - you can get this reasonably cheaply off of eBay and its a great material IMO. Basically if you heat it gently it becomes pliable so you can bend it to the shape you want and as it cools it holds that shape. What I did was made a mock bracket from cardboard then flattened it, cut the Kydex to shape using a coping saw (its very easy to cut), drilled the hole and made sure the Gammatronix unit fitted and then heated it up to bend to shape. From memory I used 2mm Kydex to make the bracket (I did originally use 1mm but it was a bit flimsy) and it worked and was very solid. I've since used Kydex to make various brackets and rain deflectors on my BMW and they all worked perfectly.
