When ya have to go to the dentist because of a broken tooth, what hurts more?  Your tooth or your wallet?
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Having good dental under your health insurance. I had a crown fail and massive cavity under the cap, hurt like a MF.  Extraction was the only choice, I was not a dollar out of pocket.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.

Wallet doesn't hurt much here. Extraction is always free. Crown depends on what you want. A dentist told me that gold is the best for him as it makes his work much easier. Extremely rare that someone wants gold crowns.

I had a crown (ceramic) recently. As I have been going to check-ups every 6 months for 5 years, insurance paid 70% of my 500 € part. Don't want to know what I would have to pay if I had to pay for the whole thing.

Still recovering from a bad tooth that got extracted 2 weeks ago. The bad tooth didn't hurt much at all. I suspected a gum problem. That's what the dentist thought first too. "I have a good ointment for that. But to be sure will take an x-ray." The x-ray showed that the tooth had to come out. Tooth had a root treatment done in the past. That explains that the pain was so little. The little pain was much overshadowed by general weakness. That's what primarily drove me to see the dentist.
