Hey All,

Would like some advice on what, if anything, I can do with my lcd screens in the dials.

The bike was a bit of a barn find and there is a lot of work needed but I don't know what I can do here?

Actually I think it may have been parked in the sun for a long while!

Here's a photo. Both lcds are the same. Practically unreadable during the day.

Thanks

Hopefully I've posted this in the right place thus time!20250106_194536.jpg20250104_211034.jpg

Hmmmm, in your original post about this topic, you were given some good suggestions (and some advice)  Suggestions for a remedy were replacement clocks, aftermarket clocks or contact Thomohawk.

The advice was to introduce yourself in the Intro section, folk here will respond much more if you follow protocol.  It's just polite really.

Here's a link to the Intro section, https://gsx1400owners.org/forum/index.php?board=20.0  have a read of some of the posts so you get an idea of what others have done.    Welcome aboard  :onya:  (in advance)

I've tried to explain before, if someone walks into my shed, says Hello, introduces themselves, is social, shares a bit, even if they have turned up because they have a drama and have been sent in my direction, then we are off on the right footing.

Imaging just walking up to a stranger at their place and starting off with "This is broken how do I fix it".

Forums aren't as popular or common as they once were, but they offer a huge depth of knowledge, however you need a human touch and you can't use them like Google. Intro's are still very much appreciated.

Good luck with your dash issue.
