Sunday ride to Rotorua

Got up and went for a ride with the bride to Rotorua, just under 200kms round trip. Had coffee in the cafe at the edge of Lake Rotorua. Busy place, paddle boat, jet boats, paraponting, choppers and float planes all giving the tourists a taste of NZ. Back home by 1.30.

There was an original org member who I think had a boat business at Rotorua. He came over for our first MCR at Bathurst. Neville I think was his name but can't remember his org name ... Rogues probably remembers.

you can only tell summer and winter here by checking if the rain is freezing or warm as its never hot .

Or, if it's going sideways it's winter.  Coming straight down its summer.

Smokin Joe ... that was it Dave. All the poor bugger could hire when he came out was a well worn BMW. I think he landed in Brisbane & rode down with the Queensland mob.
