New Average Speed Cameras come into use today in the UK, they look similar to the old speed cameras but track between different roads, they also track tailgating and a whole host of other things that they never did before!!!

Went over to Bristol in the car last week and I'm sure I noticed some of these on the M4, Bristol side of the Severn Bridge.
I'd learned which overhead gantries the cameras were on..Two in each direction East and West.
I'll have to suss these new ones out before I wind it up in future.
Assumption is the mother of all fuck ups!

Do these new cameras have an effect on the road toll ?
Or just revenue ?

In my opinion it's nothing to do with road safety as is claimed by the authorities..It's just an easy way of raising loads of revenue :furious:

it seems to be all about revenue but know one knows what its used for,roads are disgusting  around our way
