Another set of disks needed

I fitted a new pair of EBC X disks a couple of years ago, after only 3 months they had gone rusty and looked shagged so I complained and had them replaced.  Last MOT the mechanic told me my disks were on their way out as there was slight pulsing at the bars, I was a bit surprised as they are less than two years old.  However I went up to my Mums last weekend and coming down a long steep hill I had to apply the breaks quite hard and there was no pulsing but a proper Judder.

I will not fit EBC disks again so what other disks are people using or can recommend?

Years ago I got 'Zone' discs off ebay as they were the cheapest. They were crap with the pads I had (can't recall what) but work great with the el-cheapo organics I run now.
