I "know" that bloke. Used him several times for parts on my GL1100 project bike.

I started on the front brakes clean and wheel reassembly, but I got visited so many times, (read interrupted), that I never got finished. I will get the wheel in today.
I had already spent the morning getting my bicycle repair shop ready.
The calipers cleaned up well, and the pads were still reasonable, so I refitted those.
I thought that the pad retainers were painted black, until I wiped them with a rag.  :rofl2:
I don't think this bike saw a lot of cleaning in it's previous ownership, apart from the shiny bits, and even then it was just cursory.

Finally got the front wheel in and got most of the solar gear rigged up in my shed.

Quite a good productive day. Light is running off a 3 cell lipo from one of my models. I have a total of 8 in there.

MOT passed today.  :clapping:   118 miles covered last year, there will be considerably more this year.

118 last year Dwain?,  ???  I did more than that yesterday before lunch!   :happy1:  Mind you, it is unusual for me to do that, but all the same, worth a laugh.  :happy1:
😎  Always looking for the next corner.  😎

Hooli

118 miles a year?

Best book it in for a fresh tank of fuel in April 2025...

Financially speaking what's the running cost per mile in that particular case ?

Fitted a new sport rack today, so I will be able to carry my sandwiches, thermos and dandruff cream on rides out.
