...oh noo, Kaners build topic was so epic, and now it's.. ...gone? Has any of the topics been salvaged from the old forum? There was a s**t ton of info there...

Hey Blackadder - between myself, Vlad and a few others we did manage to retain much of the old info that was available for main topics - if you look in the technical section you'll see a variety of stickies on Hiw To's and Tech Tips - essentially here we took the old topics and pulled them all together in one 'more readable' article. Also if you go to the Downloads section, many of these articles can be downloaded from there. So not all lost by any means. Thankfully. We had to rebuild from scratch, as Synk just let the other forum die, usual promises of rebuilding it, but also the usual did sod all when it died the last time.

Kanerdog though hasn't joined. I did mail him, but he said himself he was already losing interest in his 14 on the old forum, looks like he has lost it completely.

So overall on techie info and the suchlike we are not in too bad a place in all honesty, all the main topics covered over the years are here

I've to get familiar with this layout to find stuff and downloads sounds like good idea.

Cant blame when someone loses intreset but all the techspecs, pictures and ideas in Kaners topic was just so... ...awesome.

But yeah, nice to be "back" and to have a "own" forum as well.

Oh hell, Kanerdogs attention to detail was out of this world, and the quality of his pictures and writing as well. He had so many minute details done to his bike... ...and that thread is gone. Shame.

I've seen Kanerdogs bike..It is indeed a spectacle to behold..Detail is amazing, although the day we met up by chance at Abergavenny one of his side panel grommets was missing...He wasn't a happy man
