I give up?? Rats??

Yeah, rats or mice I guess. Got plenty of both. Don't want to use bait or poisons because of the dog and all the other wildlife here. Even traditional mouse traps have caught green tree frogs. I keep most stuff they like in sealed tubs or containers, but they still like the sheds and vehicles in winter.  A couple of resident pythons might help but all I get are Eastern Browns and Red Bellies.

I used to keep snakes as a Kid..
(Weird Kid but what the hell)..
Floridal Kingsnake and Reticulated Python (and many others)..
Kingsnake was my favourite.. So aggresive when feeding but very tame to handle..

At a local biker stop / cafe about 13 miles from me I saw the most immaculate GT750 in totally unmolested condition..

I talked to the owner and he says shes a 1976 model.

That is really immaculate probably cleaner than when it came out of the factory 🏭

Just beautiful. Ive had 4 of them, never a problem. My L was a rocket. I ported to some USA racing specs i had, made expansion chambers for it. Could out run Z1 Kawas, that was the aim in those days, loved fuel only prob. Great bikes.

I don't have great faith in weather forecast's but it's certainly the right conditions for something nasty.

It's not bad here yet. I saw two on my last ride North and occasionally you get a slight smell in the air.

My property is right on the line they use to back burn to protect a local town, which is in my favour. I keep a lot of water in tanks, keep the grass short near the house and no trees near the buildings.

No one here is panicking... yet, but everyone knows what could happen. It's been real bad in previous years, 2009 was especially bad.

So far so good. Fingers crossed.

Mum's in her 80's.

Her chemotherapy knocked her about quite badly.

She just been told it wasn't successful.

They've given her the option of doing it all over again.

She's gone very quiet about it.

Dad seems to be taking it worse than her.

Thats not good news Tony. Cancer really does suck. My 40 yr old about to start chemo, both of us thru it, all ok. Not sure it makes it easier. My head just gets so confused about it, makes me search bike stuff, do bike stuff, watch you tube concerts, my way of escaping/ doing therapy.

Beautiful Spring day. Warm, sunny, gentle breeze. I've been out putting another 7 plants in, walking the dog, chilling in the shed with a cold drink.

When the sky went black.

Then it started to hail.

F#cking Hell it came down hard. I got both cars undercover but fortunately it wasn't the huge damaging hail.  Yard went white over, all the downpipes blocked up so it just over flowed.  Metal shed was bloody loud!

Its stripped the leaves off a few plants and washed away a little topsoil where I'm gardening but not much damage.

All happened very quickly.  20mm of hail in a few minutes gets your attention!
