Hiya, another returning member. I bought two 14s brand new when I had money, in 02 and 04. I suddenly fancy another and have found this one at a dealer whom I've bought from in the past, and who I trust. Did a deal today.

It's a great price, mainly because it has zero history with it. I'd love to see if I can find any - it must be around somewhere.

Does anyone recognise the number? Any tips gratefully received.

Cheers.

Welcome - Croeso ..its a Scottish Registration so it hasn't been far . :)
The older I get the better I was
The problem with retirement is that you cant take a day off

Thank you, Notty. It's actually a Reading plate, isn't it? It's the RJ but that counts, not the SK.

Welcome (back!) :onya:. I`ve got `RJ` as a Salford, Manchester, origin......the plot thickens.... :confused1:

CitroenCX

Ha ha, Jesus, this was supposed to simple. I see more than one site ref Salford, so I'll go with that. Or Reading. Or anywhere.

Allo,

Looking at the MOT history previous owners didn't know how to look after the chain n sprockets. Plus it might have had front disks a couple of year ago after a warning on fluctuation. I was surprised at wheel bearings after thirty three thousand, mine lasted one hundred thousand more than that.

About fifty thousand on it now, barely run in that for one of these.

I see RJ as Reading when I check too.

CitroenCX

Thanks, Hooli. Yes, MOT history is always the first thing I check but would love to track down any actual paperwork that might be hiding somewhere.
