Hey there, new member here from Canada. Love those GSX1400s, unfortunately we never got them here.

Probably don't have much useful content to add, I'm building up a retro endurance styled GSXR, has an "Blandit" motor in a watercooled 750 frame, working on an EFI conversion at the moment. Thinking I'll be building a chunky subframe and twin shocking it. Not everyone's cup of piss but the way I picture it, should be pretty cute. I joined up because I'm searching far and wide for one of those big fat GSX1400 swingarms and a couple suitable shocks.

I've been told it's rude to sign up for a forum and use your first post to try to nab all the sweet parts.

Welcome to the forum Denver.    good luck with your search.  You could always buy one and import it to Canada as one of your countrymen did.

Hi Denver & welcome to the forum.  Yeah, gonna be a bit awkward getting a swingarm with you in Canada & most of the parts in Europe.  I'd be trying wreckers / Breakers to locate a swingarm myself, as most of us have complete bikes & use them.

Where in Canada - I'm in Vancouver - imported my '03 a while back - had two of them in the UK sold one and kept the other!
