Hi All,

just wanted to say a quick hello and introduce myself now that I'm the happy owner of a 2006 GSX1400.

Loving it so far and it's a lot easier on my posture than my previous sporty number that my neck and body started to dislike.

I will be enjoying your advice in this minefield of info as I start to play with maintenance and get to know my bike. Thanks in advance for your help, advice and for sharing all the content I've already had a peek at.

Looks like a great forum and I'm glad to jump on board.

Nice intro mate, good to have you along. I'm sure you'll enjoy your new bike. The're pretty bullet proof when given some regular basic maintenance.
Couple of simple things they like are a well adjusted chain and throttle cables, stops them being a bit snatchy at low speed. There's plenty to read up on to keep you occupied.
