Brake disc changes?

I recently went to fit some brake discs purchased off eBay only to find the mounting holes do not align. Now these discs allegedly cover '02 - '07 models and my Special Edition has a 9/08 VIN plate.
Does anyone know if the wheels were modified for an '08 model? In all honesty I thought production stopped in '07 and plated for licensing in various countries in '08.

As others have said, AFAIK they are all the same across all models/versions.

Thanks for the replies, I sourced and original set of discs and they fit straight on, will have to get a refund on the discs and just lose the postage.
Good news, bike needed to be ready for my instructors test today, I passed!
