The bastards in power (who don't ride bikes) have come up with another way to piss us off.

Keep the rubber side down.          Mick

Nothing new for those of us who have had to live with this in Europe for many years.  We cannot simply replace parts - they must be 'type approved' by the relevant authority an dyou need to carry that approval with you in case of a roadside check.
You guys can change end cans as you please... if we do so the new can must meet the same noise and emissions requirement as the oem kit.  If you are found breaching this you face heavy fines and your bike immedaiatly off the road and possibly seized.  So as you can imagine this really restricts what end can is available to us - so no Delkevic etc etc as they dont want the hassle and cost of meeting the EU type approval.

... and you all thought you would be escaping this shit with Brexit..  :stir:

Mate had a Hardley he put some Screaming Eagle pipes on, they were fcun loud and then tried to drown the noise with the bikes stereo. That worked.....not !!
I believe our empty 55 seater diesel buses following each other around and used to cure climate change are another winner......then they tinted the windows so you couldn't see they were empty   :jack:
Apparently the planet is burning more coal now than ever before. .... as Greta would say "how dare you" lol.
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎

I won`t be losing sleep over this (just yet). At this point we don`t know when or even if changes will be implemented, what will be included, and how long we`ll have to ensure we are all compliant.
There will be thousands of owners like myself who have aftermarket cans (for example) and do not own the originals to retro-fit. NOS are probably unavailable, so what do they expect us to do, scrap our bikes? I don`t think so. Not unless the Govt are prepared to compensate us all for a brand new (boring) bike as a replacement. Then there`s the hundreds of companies who will go bust who produce aftermarket kit......and then there are cars which are fashionably `tweaked` these days. No, I think the Govt will have to give us all 30yrs notice before anything happens. Then it won`t matter to me anyway.... :whistling:
PS. I am sick to death with hearing about climate change; hearing from greenies, and being told how to live my life by those who haven`t a clue :furious:.....Just saying.... :onya:!

Suppose I'll have to change my K&N filter, good thing I kept the original.

If brought in I suspect it will only apply to vehicles sold after a particular date and won't be retrospective.

Anyway, we'll all have to covert to electric before hand and trailer photo-electric cells, bikes will be measured in ohms not bhp 😂😂
Nothing to do.............all day to do it....I love retirement

Watts, its still HP.
What about hydrogen bikes, I'm working on hydrogen buses presently interesting but they still have a pile of batteries onboard.

"COMPLIENT".....DP1400 for using that much loved government approved word we worship you  :worshippy:

Remember at all times Sheeple "I must be Complient" for "Safer" communities together we should always be Complient. Show compassion and be Kind to those around you. For their Safety report your neighbour to the authorities if they are not being Complient.

Tomorrow's word for the group will be "Obey"
Another great day on the right side of the grass.😎
