Couple of weeks back, needed new phone, running out of memory. Checked out new what i wanted. Old model SE I Phone 128GB. Just on $400. I put a stupid bid on one, $51, no one else bidded. Arrived today, 7 days early. Just set it up, perfect. Phone bloke is giving me $150 for old 32GB. Never knock E Bay until you have a go.

Nice one on the phone grog.

My Ebay bargain last week was a Maglite 6 D Cell torch. Been after one for a while now due to it's weight and length. Handy for protection when out walking the dog at night :imrgreen:
Put in a cheeky offer of £25 which the seller accepted.

Its actually cost me more than I paid for it to fill it with batteries and put an LED Cree conversion bulb in it :rolleyes:

Froudy, i have similar. Batteries cost lots, i keep it as a burglar whacker. Im a bit of a torch hoarder, new rechargeables are so good. About 10 in my collection. My phone buy was described as minor scratches and battery life poor. I factored in new batt, $50. Turns out, phone is as new, batt sits at 100%. I reckon hes sent me a new phone by mistake. Ive tested it all day, happy chappy.  :cheers:

Just be careful with ebay there are increasingly heaps of fakes on there, of all sorts of products.

Ebay has unfortunately become full of fakes of all sorts of items. They give the impression the items are in the UK, when in a lot of cases it takes weeks to arrive from China :furious:

@grog

Collecting torches seems to be a "thing". I'm on a Farcebook group called EDC and Banter. Some members on there collect silly numbers of torches. O-Light seem to be "the one" to go for, but at the prices they charge I'll stick to my very cheap and efficient Ultra Fire XML-T6 from Amazon for around £7..And of course my Big Boy Maglite :imrgreen:

Froudy, i bought a Click brand from Bunnings. $12.95, bought 2 actually. Amazing, head lite, side light. Bendable, rechargeable, magnets to position. Super bright. Same torch, branded Snap On, nearly $130. Just a Chinese torch but best ive got, about the size of a banana.
