If idling at 700 rpm, itll cut out every time. Just necessary adjustments required.

I always believe to try the simple answers first, so today on the run I upped the tickover to 1100 and bingo! No more cutting out so thanks Grog and everyone else who suggested it.

Only thing I have noticed is the throttle now has a flat spot now around 2k revs, can I adjust this at the throttle cable?
If you are going to run out of fuel, do it in your garage.

It's only a short walk to the kettle.

Glad that you sorted the first bit.

In short no, the flat spot is fuelling related, so to me that sounds like the throttle bodies need to balanced.

The throttle cable controls the opening of the butterfly valve and so the air flow, and the sensor related to that (the TPS) determines how much fuel is provided for a given amount of opening.
I try to take one day at a time, however sometimes several days catch up with me at once.
