Crazy hey!? We export high grade iron ore to China to be made into cheap steel then we complain that a) we are buying such crap steel and b)  we are closing steel mills

Here's a thought, build a steel mill or 10 in the Pilbara, value add to make high grade steel and sell that to Australian consumers at discount prices and at premium prices for export customers.
